1. The Big Banana; Coffs Harbour, NSW

The Big Banana – Coffs Harbour, NSW

Size: Over 13 meters tall.

Build Date: 1964.

Significance: Something big and unique to attract tourists, built within the banana plantation region.

Location: On the Pacific Highway through town.

2. The Big Merino; Goulburn, NSW

The Big Merino – Goulburn, NSW

Size: Over 15 meters tall and weighing 50 tonnes.

Build Date: 1985.

Significance: Representing Goulburn’s wool industry, and largest big thing in NSW.

Location: Just off the Hume Highway at the southern end of Goulburn.

3. The Big Prawn; Ballina, NSW

The Big Prawn – Ballina, NSW

Size: Over 9 meters tall and weighing 35 tonnes.

Build Date: 1989.

Significance: A tribute to Ballina’s seafood industry.

Location: On the Bruxner Highway, off the Pacific Motorway in Ballina.
